Agentic Twin: AI-supported clash detection at the KI Park
Collision detection with explore, NVIDIA Omniverse, USD and Lora AI, rethought as automated, context based and hands-on
Collision detection is a decisive factor in product development, factory planning and robot-assisted production. At the same time, clash detection still involves a great deal of manual work in many projects: models have to be checked, conflicts assessed and suitable measures derived.
At the KI Park event on May 22, 2026, our CTO Markus Herhoffer showed how this process can be made considerably more efficient with modern AI and simulation approaches.
At the center was the concept of the Agentic Twin: an intelligent digital twin that does not just detect collisions automatically, but also assesses them in their respective context and derives concrete recommendations for action.
The live demo illustrated the use of our platform explore, the NVIDIA Omniverse, USD and Lora AI in an application from robot-assisted production. Participants gained hands-on insight into how automated clash detection enables more precise decisions and can sustainably accelerate development and planning processes.
